The beginning

Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Alessio I'm 21 and I'll be the next EVS volunteer in Maidla youth centre (in Estonia of course). This is my blog, it will be my personal space where I'll write my thoughts, my feelings and my experiences.
You will know about me by keep following this blog, right now what you have to know is that the day of departure is really close and I'm very excited and scared at the same time.
But before starting this awesome experience, I'll taste a little bit of Estonia, I'll be the leader in a youth exchange in a place near Rakvere, I can't wait anymore!

Starting to explore

I have to say that the Arrival Training was very useful, I met a lot of new people and the weekends are a lot better, especially cause since then, I've never been at home during them. The last week I was in Rakvere where I stayed in Cecile's place, it was nice, I could talk and walk around the town, we met new people and that's nice. This weekend I'll be in Tartu, a town that I really want to visit, tonight I'll go to a party and I'll stay the night to Mira's place, she's a volunteer from Germany. Everything is nice right now and I hope to have fun at the party and tomorrow maybe I'll walk around the town.

Nothing too new

This week was quite relaxing, nothing really happened, in my mind there's only this week, my friend from Italy will come and I'm quite excited, we are going to present Italy in the youth centre. First look it's what matters

I'm finally in my promised land and it's even better than I expected, I had the chance to visit Tallinn, the capital, and it's more than amazing. Right now I'm in Möedaku sportcentre, 15 minutes by car from Rakvere, for a youth exchange and I can say that I'm in love with this place already, it's calm and quiet, it seems a totally different world but I have to say that I made an error, I thought it would had been less cold, right now the weather is making me a lot tired, my body has to still get in it, it takes time and energies but I will survive don't worry. Now I'm waiting for a night without clouds, they told me that here the night sky is amazing, I can't wait to see it!
